#GeneralMeade’s painting presides over the Meade & Lee Dining Room at the #FarnsworthHouse in #Gettysburg. The building had been taken over by Confederate sharpshooters during the battle. One of them is said to have been responsible for firing the bullet that killed #JennieWade, the only civilian fatality of the three-day battle.
